About three quarters of all women experience some sadness after giving birth. This is called the Baby Blues and can start in the first few days after giving birth, and lasts about two weeks. In this episode Dr. Julianne Zweifel gives some helpful information about the distinction between the Baby Blues and a perinatal mood disorder, such as postpartum depression.
