Does this sound familiar?

Many women feel like their cycle is just happening to them.
A monthly inconvenience, impossible to predict, hard to explain to a doctor.

  • You’ve been told everything is “normal” — but something clearly isn’t.
  • You came off the pill and your body feels like a stranger to you.
  • You’re trying to conceive and feel like you’re working with incomplete information.
  • You’ve Googled everything. You have more questions than answers.
  • You feel like you’re the only one going through this. You’re not.

"If you've ever felt that something wasn't quite right — and your doctor brushed it off — you were right to keep asking."

What the programme gives you

  • A clear understanding of how your cycle actually works — the full hormonal picture, not just the basics.
  • The ability to read your own body: temperature, cervical fluid, cycle patterns.
  • Confidence in appointments — knowing what to ask, and how to interpret what you’re told.
  • A method you can use for hormone-free contraception, for trying to conceive, or simply for understanding yourself better.
  • A small group of women going through something similar — and the realisation that you’re not alone in this.

Not a lecture. Not an app. A real conversation, in a room, with women who get it.

Elise designed a course that is equally useful and safe for sharing our struggles and concerns. I have problems with fertility, the course helped me greatly with managing my anxiety I had in this situation, and provided me tools to understand and identify the obstacles I'm facing. Elise gave detailed personal recommendations, so I always felt taken care of during / after the sessions.

What we cover in 8 sessions – The Fertility Awareness Method explained

Over 9 weeks, we go through the full picture — from the basics of how your cycle works to reading your own charts in real time.

  • How your cycle works — the full hormonal story across all four phases
  • What a healthy cycle looks like, and how to recognise imbalances in your own
  • Basal body temperature: how to take it, what it tells you, and how to spot patterns
  • Cervical fluid: what changes, why it matters, and how to observe it without guessing
  • How to chart using the Double-Check sympto-thermal method
  • How to identify your fertile and infertile days with real confidence
  • Common causes of hormonal imbalance — and how they show up in your chart

This is for you if

  • You’re trying to conceive — with or without a diagnosis — and want to understand your cycle as a real tool.
  • You recently came off hormonal birth control and want to know what’s actually happening now.
  • You’ve been going from doctor to doctor without clear answers, and you’re ready to learn to read the signals yourself.
  • You want a hormone-free approach to contraception and need to learn it properly — not from an app.
  • You want to be in a room with other women who are asking the same questions. Not just online. Actually in a room.

This is not the right fit if

  • You’re currently on hormonal birth control — the method requires tracking your natural cycle.
  • You’re looking for a one-off event or a self-paced online course. This is a 9-week commitment to a small group.

Who you'll be working with

I’m Elise — a certified Fertility Awareness Method educator (NFPTA, Double-Check Sympto-Thermal Method), based in Budapest. I’ve been tracking my own cycle for about 7–8 years.

My own health journey has not been straightforward. I have PCOS and Hashimoto’s. I’ve been trying to conceive for years, had a miscarriage, and had my left fallopian tube removed after an ectopic pregnancy. I know what it feels like to sit in a waiting room and come out with half an answer.

That experience is the reason this programme exists. Not to give you more information — but to help you actually understand your own body, with other women around you who are going through the same thing.

I also founder and co-host of InFertility Stories a podcast about the honest, daily reality of trying to conceive. This work is personal, not just professional.

More than #12 women have already completed The Cycle Room

This course helped me reconnect with my body in a way I didn’t even realize I needed. I feel more confident, more aware, and more aligned with my natural rhythm. Elise’s guidance is gentle, knowledgeable, and deeply supportive.

I am so glad I listened to my friend and went to Elise's course. I got so many useful information about my body, my cycle. And I gained new perspectives on how to accept and observe my body as it is right now… I feel more confident in my body since completing the course because I have gained more tangible and useful knowledge about my cycle.

Elise's course holds value that accompanies us throughout our entire lives as women. It helps you shift from being stuck in your head to feeling more connected to your body, empowering you to find a sense of agency in tracking your fertility and bodily processes.

If you want to get to know your body better and approach your cycle in an understanding, loving way, while enjoying the power of sharing among women, this is the course for you. you will definitely be more attentive to yourself afterwards, and it might just bring you some unexpected results.

Frequently asked questions about The Cycle Room

Do I need any prior experience with cycle tracking?
No. The programme starts from the beginning — no previous knowledge needed. Whether you’ve never tracked your cycle before or have been doing it for years, we meet you where you are.

Yes — and honestly, this programme is especially valuable if you have a diagnosis or an irregular cycle. Understanding what your body is doing becomes even more important when something is off. I have PCOS and Hashimoto’s myself, and these conditions are part of what I teach around.
No. Women join The Cycle Room for different reasons: to understand their body better, to come off hormonal birth control, to find a hormone-free contraceptive method, or to get answers their doctor hasn’t given them. You don’t need to be trying to conceive to benefit.
Not yet — the Fertility Awareness Method requires observing your natural cycle, which hormonal birth control suppresses. If you’re planning to stop, I’d love to hear from you. We can talk about timing and what to expect when you come off.

Because the group is small (3–4 women), each session is shaped by the people in the room. Sessions are not recorded. If you know in advance that you’ll miss one, let me know — we’ll figure it out together. That said, this programme works best when you can commit to showing up every week.

Sessions are not recorded — this keeps the room a genuinely private space for everyone in it.

If you miss a session, you’ll receive the slides and any handouts so you can catch up in your own time. You’re also always welcome to bring questions to the next session or send them by email.

  • A digital basal thermometer (two decimal places). Around 5.000HUF/€10–20, available online or in pharmacies. A Tempdrop, Oura Ring or Apple Watch also works.
  • 9 weeks of showing up. Consistency is what makes the method work

You’ll receive a free 3-month trial to the Read Your Body app as part of the programme.

Of course! Nationality doesn’t matter — what matters is that you feel at home in an English-speaking group. So far I have though Hungarian, Dutch, French, Iranian, and Spanish women.

Completely fine. Most women in the group will have English as a second or third language — you’re in good company. As long as you feel comfortable learning, reading, and following a conversation in English, you’re welcome to join. Perfection is not required here, in any sense.
